FAIR-EASE Final Event
12 June

Join us in Paris on June 12th for the final event of the FAIR-EASE project, a key gathering of Earth science researchers, policymakers, data scientists, and EOSC stakeholders. This full-day event marks the culmination of three years of work toward building an Open Science EOSC Node that empowers Earth System Science through interoperable, FAIR-aligned digital services.
This is an exclusive opportunity to discover the results of FAIR-EASE project, which has aimed to improve the way researchers discover, access and analyse complex data about the Earth system. Throughout the day, you’ll engage in lively discussions, live demonstrations, and a poster exhibition showcasing the tools, services, and insights developed during the project.
The morning will features three interactive roundtables, exploring FAIR-EASE’s key pillars:
- Roundtable 1: National infrastructures: a sustainable environment for supporting Open Science How to ensure the continuity between the national and the European data environment?
- Roundtable #2: “EOSC: a European federated space for promoting Open Science” What role does the EOSC play in shaping Open Science as the new normal?
- Roundtable #3: “Cross-cutting approaches: boosting projects’ collaboration for taking on interdisciplinary challenges towards EOSC” How can projects work together to break down silos among scientific disciplines and technical challenges ?
