IASI Conference 2024

The 6^th IASI (Infrared Atmospheric Sounding Interferometer) conference organised by the Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) and the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) will be held in Nancy, France, from the 2^nd to the 6^th December 2024. This conference aims at sharing the scientific results based on the use of the hyperspectral infrared observations from the IASI instruments on board the three Metop satellites. Beyond results of the impact of IASI data in weather forecasting, atmospheric composition and climate monitoring, contributions are encouraged on innovative uses of IASI data and synergies with other instruments or data fusion. Presentations on the progress of the preparation and implementation of new IR hyperspectral instruments (IASI-NG, MTG/IRS, FORUM, HIRAS, GIIRS, …) and techniques (principal components, machine learning, …) are also very welcome.
