Science meets City: Paris We are pleased to invite you to the event ‘Science meets City: Paris’, dedicated to the essential role of cities in the fight against climate change. We will explore how cities can not only reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, but also effectively measure the impact of their policies. This event is a collaboration between the pan-European ICOS Cities project, Airparif (Île-de-France Air Quality Observatory), LSCE (Laboratory for Climate and Environmental Sciences), Origins.earth and Laboratoire EcoSys. It is aimed at all stakeholders interested in monitoring greenhouse gases in urban areas, including city representatives, agencies and researchers. Climate scenarios: Assessment of Paris’ transition to decarbonisation. About the event This event is organised by ICOS Cities, a project funded by the European Horizon 2020 programme. Our goal is to develop innovative greenhouse gas monitoring systems designed specifically to support cities’ climate action. Paris is one of our three pilot cities, alongside Zurich and Munich.
