SIRTA 2024 Scientific Day

SIRTA, the Atmospheric Research Observatory of the Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace, is organizing its 23rd Scientific Day this year.
Day program
9:30-12:30: Plenary session of oral presentations in the observatory conference room (15min + 5 min Q&A)
12:30-15:00: Lunch (buffet provided) and poster session (observatory passageway)
3:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Field seminar session (30-45 min) and tour of the observatory (measurement platform)
Topics for oral presentations, poster sessions and seminars include
- studies of physico-chemical processes in the atmosphere (clouds, aerosols, trace gases, greenhouse gases, water vapor, precipitation),
- studies of processes at the surface-atmosphere interface,
- studies of climate variability and trends, observations and numerical modeling,
- studies of boundary layer dynamics and turbulence,
- qualification studies for renewable energies (solar, wind) and local energy management solutions (micro-grids),
- measurement campaigns, instrumental tests and spatial validation,
- instrumental and algorithmic developments,
- educational and public activities,
- synergies between ground and satellite measurements,
- scientific and technical studies within IR ICOS, ACTRIS and at the ACTRIS/ICOS interface,
