Workshop ‘Space Observation for All’
26 September

We are pleased to announce the workshop ‘Space Observation for All’ co-organised by the Île-de-France Space Academy (France 2030) and DATA TERRA.
Satellite data from Earth observations are omnipresent in our daily lives, and most of them are freely accessible.
This workshop aims to provide practical knowledge enabling participants to view the Earth from space independently. It will draw on concrete examples of simple uses and applications of space data in the fields of the atmosphere, oceans, continental surfaces, the cryosphere, etc.
Who is it for? Anyone who wants to consult or use satellite observations without being an expert in the field: students (bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral level), teacher-researchers, researchers, engineers, technicians, administrators, etc.
When? 26 September 2025
Where? Sorbonne University, 4 place Jussieu, Paris 75005
Requirements: none
We strongly encourage you to share this call with your students and colleagues so that as many people as possible can take advantage of this opportunity.
