MicroCarb: AERIS continues to prepare for launch
Preparation for the launch of the MicroCarb mission is going on. During September, joint CNES/AERIS tests took place successfully. The objective was to generate simulated data on the CNES side of mission events, as well as predicted orbits and acquisition modes then made available to AERIS. This data could have been collected, processed and archived automatically in order to feed the graphical interfaces available on the MicroCarb website (https://microcarb.aeris-data.fr) so that everything is ready for the launch of the satellite, which should take place in spring 2025.
Data produced by EUMETSAT are received by the AERIS/ICARE data center and distributed to users via the Microcarb data portal.
