ACTRIS-FR is the French component of ACTRIS-EU for the observation and exploration of aerosols, clouds and reactive gases and their interactions. ACTRIS is a distributed European research infrastructure supporting research […]
SAETTA (Suivi de l’Activité Electrique Tridimensionnelle Totale de l’Atmosphère) detects and localizes in three dimensions the electromagnetic radiation emitted by atmospheric discharges in the VHF 60-66 MHz band. It provides […]
AERIS provides access to radar data from the Météo-France French operational network in mainland France and overseas. The radar data is made up of four products: AERIS manages the conversion […]
AERIS provides access to observation data from the Météo-France ground weather observation network (RADOME and extended network) in France. Observation data from the ground network is made up of two […]
Context: Lidar observations are the only means to reproduce highly resolved vertical profiles of key atmospheric parameters such as water vapour content, temperature, aerosols, and clouds. They also have great […]
The PEGASUS (Portable Gas and Aerosol Sampling Units) mobile field platform is a set of two mobile units for the sampling and analysis of aerosols and atmospheric gases. The development […]
GRUAN is an international reference network of about thirty stations dedicated to the observation of key climatological variables between the surface and the stratosphere by radiosoundings. Several French organisations have […]
ICOS (Integrated Carbon Observation System) is a European Research Infrastructure for measuring atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases and fluxes on ecosystems and the ocean. As the increase in greenhouse gases is the main cause of climate change, the interest of ICOS is to allow, in the long term, the monitoring of their sources and sinks. This monitoring will provide verification of emissions and sinks independent of fossil emission inventories and land use data. The ICOS infrastructure mobilises more than 500 researchers and engineers from 17 European countries; it is a key element of the European Research Infrastructure Roadmap (ESFRI) and constitutes a Very Large Research Instrument (TGIR) of the French national research strategy. The French part of ICOS is coordinated by the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE) which depends on CEA, CNRS, UVSQ and INRA.
ACTRIS is a European research infrastructure that coordinates the acquisition and dissemination of measurements for the characterisation of ‘short-lived’ components of the atmosphere. The themes covered by this infrastructure are : […]
The project EUROCHAMP-2020 aims at further integrating the most advanced European atmospheric simulation chambers into a world-class infrastructure for research and innovation. The project is composed by a coordinated set […]
The project The atmospheric mercury compounds monitoring program GMOS-FR has been initiated thanks to the support of the EU FP7 GMOS (Global Mercury Observation System – 2010 to 2015) and […]
The project INDAAF (International Network to study Deposition and Atmospheric composition in Africa) is a programme dedicated to the long-term monitoring of the atmospheric composition and of the atmospheric deposition […]
The project The NDACC (Network for Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change), formerly NDSC (Network for Detection of Stratospheric Change), is an international network for long-term monitoring of the stratosphere and […]
